Not Connecting to the Access point

The trace between the module and the U.FL does look a little thin but it should not cause a problem like you are describing. There is likely something wrong with your U.FL to SMA cable. Are you using the cable and antenna sold by LSR?

Not Connecting to the Access point

We have boards with your layout for the u.FL connector but can 't seem to connect to he access point. Our process can connect a Tiwi demo board with the chip antenna just fine so we now it isn 't a software issue. The tiwi on our board comes up with and tries to connect to the access point but doesn 't. I have made sure the signal trace is making to the tip of the SMA connector. Do you have any recommendations for how to proceed with trouble shooting? Thanks Brian

Can you send me a photo of your setup? Also make sure the polarity of you SMA cable is correct with the antenna. Two female ends will act as if no antenna is connected.

We verified the alignment of the uFL is correct. We are concerned with the trace and space thickness. If these look like an issue then do you have and work around recommendations? Also there are planes under the uFL section but as you can see no traces like the Antenna guides suggests.
