Understanding TV White Spaces
On December 6, 2010, the Federal Communications Commission finalized the rules and regulations that will allow the unused spectrum in the TV bands to be available for unlicensed broadband devices. This unused spectrum is commonly referred to as the “TV white spaces”.
LSR’s WiKi and User Forum
LSR recently launched two new online resources. The LSR Wiki and User Forum have been live for a few weeks and contain valuable information to help engineers with hardware and software integration. For example, the TiWi Wiki page provides information on available development platforms and links for software downloads. The user forum is a great tool to ask questions and receive immediate feedback from the product designers.
