EMI Environmental Testing
Electromagnetic Interference and your worksite may develop a situation were employees with Implanted Medical Devices are exposed to potential health risks. An evaluation of the work site regarding EMI may be required in determining if an employee may resume work activity.
In addition, as your EMI environment changes around you, the general work force population may also be exposed to an EMI risk.
When in doubt, an evaluation of the work site environment regarding EMI Levels may be necessary to determine the EMI impact on Medical Products and the general welfare of the work force.
This testing is based on specific published specifications from the medical manufacturer.
